This is a story contemplating over Shadow's past 50 years ago. As his life goes on, no one will understand his suffering. His pain...what's the point of his existence in a world that took who he knew deserved everything? What, really, was behind Maria's wish for Shadow?
As Shadow continues in his way to keep his promise to Maria, he learns that not everything in Earth is so bad...what if he meets someone that is almost like him? What if she shares the same pain? What if this is his chance to finally open up to someone after the greatest loss of his life?
