Kalie is one of the most popular girls in her high school and she is dating one of the most mysterious and handsome guys in her high school. Little does she, or anyone else for that matter, know, Dmitri is not only her boyfriend, but he is also a Vampire. He surprises her when he shows up in her bedroom one morning and proposes to her. When she says yes, they go back to his house and ditch school and they make love for the first time. As they do, Dmitri surprises Kalie, yet again, by telling her his "Big Secret" and he changes her into one herself. This all happens a few day before her big 18th Birthday.
