Kovu and Kiara are the queen and king of the Pridelands. They had three beautiful cubs, two females, and one boy; Shani, Nama, and Chaka. Chaka is destined to become the king of Pride Rock, but he doesn't want to be the king. Kovu refuses to listen to his son, leaving Chaka with no choice but to leave. Who will Kovu and Kiara choose to be their new heir?

The dangers of the lioness has put all Pridelanders to stand their guard, Kiara is looking forward to being queen. Kovu on the other hand, thinks he is not ready to be king.
