It is March 2025 and America sees itself as a nation reborn. Crime and unemployment rates are at 1% and it is all thanks to the Purge. The Purge, one night per year where all crime is legal, has helped cut down on overpopulation and acts as a catharsis for the U.S. populace. Citizens only have two options: hide or purge.
Three years ago Mai Luu and her Vietnamese-American family were the prey but now Mai is the hunter. Living in a lower middle class home, with a crippled mother and a hard working father, Mai and her brother have had to steal in order to take care of their family. She's been lucky to survive three purges without incident but her luck's just run out. On the night of this year's purge, Mai's little cousin is kidnapped by purgers hell bent on finding out what it's like to kill a child. Now Mai has to find him...before it too late.
Kyo Yoshida is a Japanese - American with close ties with Japan's prime minster. As nephew of one of Japan's most powerful people, Kyo is treated as one of the elite (especially since his uncle convinced Japan to adopt the practice of purging). When Kyo is invited to purge, Kyo is not sure whether he's for it or against it. After all it is his first purging. Through a series of events Kyo begins to question everything. Before the night is through, he'll have all the answers he needs. But will they be the ones he wants?
The Purge and The Purge: Anarchy are trademarked by Universal Studios. This is a fan-written story inspired by the franchise. However, all characters in this story are entirely my own creation and belong only to me. Please respect me and do not steal my work. If you do I will find you( I know most readers won't steal but I've heard a few stories about bad people who do).
I'd really appreciate feedback. Also slight warning: there will be violence but I'll try to keep it PG-13 no more than R.

(Some of the first chapters will be short, but the rest will be long, also I do not own any of the art in this story, all credits go to the original creators) It was never easy for Izuku Mugen (formally Yagi). All he ever wanted was to be a hero, even if he never had a quirk, but all he had gotten was nothing but pain and suffering all of his life. His father Hisashi Midoriya (Inferno) had died long before he was even born, while his mother Inko (Telepath) and his stepfather Toshinori (All Might), would always neglect and abuse him for the one thing he could never control. While his stepsister Izumi, along with her friends (the Bakugo and Todoroki Twins) would always bully, abuse and torment him, and would always make his life a living hell, even when they would always claim it was to "protect him". The only ones that had actually cared for him was the entire UA staff, his aunts, uncles and cousins, and his true childhood friends (1A and 1B). They would always care for him and support him, while his true childhood friends would do the same, as well as protecting him from the five brats. But one day, the five brats had gone too far, which had caused him to run away, only to lead him to being kidnapped by none other than; Overhaul. For 13 years he would get experimented on, which had completely changed him, turning him into something that will show no one any mercy.
