James lives in England, around the late 1800s. His brother Edward, is a pirate and one of the most wanted criminals in the world, while James is a polite noble, with only one girl in mind, Samantha, his fiancé. In each of these short stories, James finds himself in a situation where no help is coming, and he will try to face his inevitable death with dignity. James, along with his friends, and enemies don't remember each of his deaths, instead living each demise like it was his first, but does everyone truly forget each death, or do some people remember?
