Niko is gay. And in his father's eyes he might as well be a girl. His father hates him so much that he abuses him for the smallest mistake. His older brother loves watching him get punished and loves it even more when he can participate. His mother just doesn't care. Niko and his family have just moved to Charleston, South Carolina. And it is here where Niko's life starts to look up when he meets a strange group of boys. Did I forget to mention that Niko is also mute?
