Samantha Rubino is a 16 year old girl who loves dance more than she loves her puppy, Turbo. She has everything, a great reputation as one of the most popular girls at her high school, great dance potential, plenty of friends, good grades- what more could a girl ask for? But when she transfers to a charter school for performing arts, reality hits her in the face. Between injuring her legs during an audition, getting involved with a boy that she shouldn't, and keeping the same sassy attitude she's had her entire life, she takes the school by storm- but maybe not in all the right ways. No one told her it'd be easy, but is it even worth it?
