To wake up and not remember is terrifying; to feel so strongly for a stranger is more than strange. She just woke up; he found someone he is supposed to treasure. She doesn't understand nor remember; he is already holding onto someone else. She fights for it; he fights against it. She yearns to be beside him but someone is already there. So blinded by the bond that she fails to realise the possible danger that is heading her way.

Call Wolf

Maria can't explain what she is or what she's done. After all, it shouldn't be possible for a human to conjur fire from nothing but pure will, but that hasn't stopped her before. She can't remember how she ends up bloodied, beaten half to death on a deserted doorstep in the middle of the night, but she can remember him, bringing her in. He's a little reserved but she doesn't mind, especially as they have something in common: neither one is supposed to exist outside of nightmares and folklore. Few people know Maria exists. All of them want her dead. None have felt the wrath of her new friend yet. This is an impossible story and you'd do best pretending you've never heard it.
