I was born into immortality on the night of a full moon. The stars were dim, the brightness of the moon was all I could see. The Earth bathed in the moonlight, forever was now possible...my fate sealed.
Kate is the first vampire born under a full moon. Her guardian did the unthinkable and saved her, without the council's approval. Now she is part of a world where vampires protect humans from the other realms. Fairytale creatures exist and they are not cute or cuddly.
Something is off with the council, their authority feels forced but what power does Kate have to change anything?

Just as I thought I couldn't handle more, my heart skipped a beat, a pain I never wanted to feel again, as my entire body shut down.
