Seventeen-year-old Reese Hart has always felt a connection towards the world on the other side; to the land that normal humans cannot see: the world of the dead. Reese can’t deny this connection and has to deal with it every day, clouding her mind with darkness that she does not know how to deal with, and doesn’t want to speak out about it because she knows she’ll end up in an institution like her grandmother…. To make matters worse, a mysterious, gorgeous boy named Zyler suddenly has all of the answers she has been seeking for and shows her the world she has been so hesitant to explore. Thrown into the land of the Undead, Reese now has powers that she never knew she had, along with a new title: she is a Necromancer. With the help of Zyler Reese learns how to use her powers and discovers the horrors that comes along with being able to control the dead. An accidental raising brings an unwanted spirit into her life and she isn’t sure if she can stop it from completely taking over her mind, body and soul. Can Reese handle her new powers and the dangers that are before her, without letting her heart get in the way?
