14 year old New Zealander Sarah has always felt like the odd one out in the family, then she mistakenly finds out why. Sarah goes looking through her 'parents' old photos of when she was a kid with the 'family' and realises they have all been photoshopped, her face placed in the middle of these strangers that she's been calling her family for countless years. She confronts her 'mum and dad' about it and gives in. In outrage she leaves with determination to find her real family. Her journey starts at a DNA searcher and ends in America.
