Emily Morgan Demarco-Davis lives by her rules. Like how rule five is no cursing. These rules range from who to bail out of jail to the rules on dibs on something in a fridge. She's an insomniac, she has two brothers, she received a full ride to a first class boarding school. A boarding school that her family started.
August Johnathan Sebastian Winters broke a rule and is now hated by the Demarco-Davis family and friends. He was accepted into Redthorn Academy and hoped to escape his sins there.
Except the girl Hell bent on making him pay goes to school there. Everyone loves their best friend, just until everything goes down the tubes.

She gets good grades so she can leave New Zealand and he gets his dream girl, Rachel. Little did she know she had it all twisted and turned.
