Jinx is the first girl in her family for little under a century. When she was born, her parents seriously thought of putting her up for adoption, which they eventually decided against.

Jinx is now sixteen, and in a LOT of trouble. Jinx, normal, shy Jinx Hayes is a witch. The first in her family actually, for little under a century, funnily enough.
