A story about life and a family with the point of view of a teenage guy who was left orphaned by his mother, and continued on shunning himself from the world and even from his father. He remained as such for two years until his father came up with a plan that definitely does not involve doctors. Adoption. Would he be able to live a life with another responsibility when he can barely live his?
'Getting Back a Life' is a story about what life is. Life is a never-ending Adventure. It goes on and on, and will take you to many different levels. You find and you see. It is a story of Life, Death, and Change.

It's kind of in the title but I'll give the main character her juicy back story I guess: Liliana Petrou, originally Liliana Gabriel before she got adopted was living in an orphanage. She never did what she was told and she never followed the rules. Her parents died when she was little and she had no other family, this led to her having to keep a rather tough act that she hardly ever broke for anyone, you were lucky if you ever heard any emotion in her voice at all. Liliana never had that many friends people were either scared or jealous of her. Will she ket her tough barriers down for a handsome boy and her new family, or would she keep the facade. Liliana was a Quite a nice kid but will she like her new home, or will she act out like she did at the orphanage, who knows, read to find out! <3 Hope you enjoy the story. A Matter of Perspective
This girl is always told to never do this never do that, and the consequences...Are questionable. This girl has never known the meaning love or kindness. She has yet to receive any of it. This is a girl who bounced from foster home to foster home. But when someone finally adopts her, it is what she least expects it to be. This is a girl who is in need of help. She is treated like a slave. So, she was forced to created a never list. A list of things that she is never EVER supposed to do. When she breaks a rule, she has to face the consequences. After all, the consequences are questionable. This guy always received what ever he wanted. This guy went through girls like he went through clothes. This is a guy who when made a wish, that wish came true. But when the day he walks into his senior year, that is the day he will always be at battle with his conscience. This will change his life. Then, this is a guy who will always have to think of two instead of one. This will change the the world as they know it. Will they accept? I made this up so no stealing it. Enjoy the book.
