An Unexpected Moment
... that changes everything Sarah was starting her junior year of high school. Looking at herself in the mirror, she saw a pretty average blonde haired, blue eyed, teenager. She was neither in the popular group, nor one of the many cliched outsiders. Sarah was a nobody. She liked to blend in and lay low. It was her way out of not only this town, but her house. No one knew it, but her father was a high functioning alcoholic that often took his anger out on his family. With her older sister now in college, it had turned to her more often. Laying low in general was a good strategy. Across town, Ryan was prepping for his final year in high school. While he wasn't the stereotypical quarterback of the football team, he did fit into the popular crowd. His sports of choice included basketball and soccer, either of which might line him up for a scholarship next year. Ryan had a group of close friends and a lot of adoring acquaintances. It wasn't easy juggling his athletics and keeping the grades up, but he was just that good. The supporting parents didn't hurt either. It might be a cliché romance, but it will be fun to see what the year and beyond holds. ------------------------------------------ This is a story I wrote years ago, or at least partially wrote. Maya is a bit of a geek and Nate is the bad boy. He wears leather jackets and she spends her days reading. They used to be best friends. In primary school, those two were inseparable. They were always together. Secondary school came around and Nate decides he needs to stop being a little boy who doesn't have many friends. He wants to make his mark at his new school. Number one... Get rid of Maya. The best way he could think of to do this, bully her. Four years later, he got what he wanted. Maya however, stayed the same. She is still a nerdy girl who has no friends and her nose stuck in a book constantly, or, at least he thinks that. He still bully's her and she still tolerates it. I very much don't agree with some decisions to move the plot forward though the story isn't all that. She is type of a girl who is a kind of oversized one but, brainy she can do both or must say multi task, a debater who is very articulate, a journalist to their school paper and known as a genius student but one day, he met again a person from his past without her realizing that it's him and became the one reason of the changes to her physical appearance and inner soul. Then an unexpected thing will happen that someone will fall in love with her that she met in the world of RPW, who had a familiar vibe. How will she handle it? Is the first guy still the same guy? Are they still one person? Or the other way around. Is there a chance that, maybe, the silent opponent of who? Is the literal soulmate of her, the guy whom she knew deeply who was already there before he met those other people? Or, her literal weakness is the guy who admired her since they were in their first years, in high school. What if the two of them are her weakness and it is unexpected. But the worst thing is another person, or more people will confuse her again about what she feels towards the guy that he truly loves. Years will come, thousands of people will meet and encounter each other, cashes will continue to burn out, those bright colors will fade, leaves will fall down by the help of the frail or burly wind, small plants will finally grow, time will fly quickly, and then maturity will hit them. He's in the last yr of school but has always been one of the youngest in his yr group. He has a little sister called Jodie and a mum called Milly. Max and Indigo have always had an unbreakable bond. That's until Indigo finds out Max is keeping something from her... Indigo has always been the shy girl at school. She used to spend most of her days in the library or in the art room with Mrs Bluebell. That's until she becomes friends with a girl called Brittney. she often perceived her as quite complicated and loud. Brittney and Indigo have known each other since they were little because Brittney's mum Camilla was training to be a hairdresser while pregnant at just sixteen with Brittney, And Rose (Indigo's mum) used to own the hairdressers and they became inseparable. However, not so much for Brittney and Indigo. They despised each other as kids. It was a jealously thing mainly. They decided to stick all that silly stuff in the past and became friends. That's when indigo is introduced to the friend group. The girls were like miss perfect teenagers. You know the type. Size six. To many teeth for their mouth. Rosy cheeks. Long shiny hair. Never to be seen wearing flats. Skirts the size of a belt. And somehow they were only ever seen sipping on diet coke. Yes those are the ones.
