11 year old Klaus has no idea how he ended up on a stray sidewalk. He's had the most important things from his memory lost to amnesia, and can't remember how important he actually is. After waking up in a bed in an abandoned home, he meets Gruff, a miniature Griffin. After Gruff explains everything, the both of them go on an adventure to retrieve the Humanity's Strength and the Angel's Blessing, as well as searching for his family. Along the way, he'll meet several people... Or creatures, that join him in search of the two elements that join Earth and Heaven. Hopefully, it won't be stopped by intruders...

Killhar is a wonderful place, if one disregarded the population of mystical beings running rampant in the towns. Well, they used to run rampant.
