And like slow motion, I watched, clinging desperately to his hand as it fell, and the way he mouthed 'I love you' for the last time... "NO. no...Please.. please don't leave me like everyone else, please!" I cried in disbelief.
"Liam! Li, please don't do this to me. Wake up baby, wake up." I shook him, slapped him, punched him but he laid there, lifeless and cold. All people could do was watch the tragedy unfold.
"Don't leave me, please." I sniffled, my head lay defeated upon his chest trying to catch any indication of a heartbeat that once beat for me...
