Tiffany: an orphan who has to protect her younger sister, even if it means dragging her into even more dangerous situations
Milla: has to raise six children in post-war times and look after herself, also dealing with love and loss
Elara: tired to death of her mother, runs away from home just to find that London really isn't what it used to be
Kellan: has to deal with his bitch of a mother, all the while protecting his sisters and failing to supress a kindling love
Roselin: forbidden love really isn't as exciting when your secret boyfriend stays with you in the gutters
