Basically I wrote this short story last year as an English essay. My teacher said that the story's intro must begin with "At last we were on holiday" so that's exactly what I did! and since I'm having a bit of writers block with my two other stories (the horror!) This isn't related to this story but, Hi i'm Kate. this is my first fully written story, though its only a short story i'm very proud of myself for fully committing to one theme and finishing it. This short story is very over dramatic and complicated because its my first story but I hope you enjoy. Description: "What are your summer plans?" My teacher asks the class. My classmates respond with the basic responses, vacation, beach, and hanging out with friends. I respond with vacation, but I don't even want to go to Orange County. It's not too far from where I live, but Sana Cruz and OC is a long drive. The bell rings, that means it's summer, that means I have to spend a whole summer away and with my dad, but my friends and I have plans to go have a bonfire at the peer tonight so at least ill have that before I leave all summer.

First year of college! Your major is undecided and you're mostly focusing on your core classes right now. Now this isn't going to be your classic "love at first sight" spiel. In fact it may just be the opposite. A/N: I'm excited to write this story! This is my first time writing fan fiction in three years so I hope I'm not too rusty. Please feel free to leave suggestions in the comments. I plan on making this a decently long story and I'll try to write as frequently as I can but I am busy a lot with school and working on finding a job. IMPORTANT NOTICE: There may be a few triggers and I will be sure to put them at the top of the chapter every time. Please do not ignore these.
