Sixteen year old Fayanna Huntsley, of Northern Iris, is far from perfect. She struggles with her family--and their ever high expectations of her--and as winter grows nearer, the air more crisp and ominous, things only become harder for her. A moment of weakness, followed by some rather ill-thought choices, leaves her wandering through the barren, snow covered forest by her home. She stumbles across curious red snow and what she believes is a dead animal. The encounter could easily change her life forever--but, for better or worse? Set in a Game of Thrones type world, Frostbite Fire is a story of love, adventure, betrayal and everything between.
