"Love is overrated."
That's what she used to say whenever someone talked about love.
"Love is toxic. It kills you bit by bit and you don't even realize it. It's just some kind of poison that appears as something good, but it eventually leaves you hurt and unable to love again."
She was the kind of girl who didn't believe in love or happily ever afters. Maybe it was because of her parents' divorce. Or maybe she was just simply afraid of the concept of love, so she swore to steer clear of it, just avoid it at all costs.
But is it possible to not love, not even once in a life time?
Then, she met him.
She used to say love is overrated, she doesn't say that anymore.
