Skylar Tutory is not normal,actually she is considered far from it. She uses music as her escape from everything, ooh and writing. She has a not so good life at home and is forced to move out and live with her dad,twin sister,step-mother,and step-sister. She sees it as a fresh start,and doesn't really talk to anyone at the new school,until people talk to her. She makes sure nobody finds out her past. What happens when she meets Ryder Brown, the school's mysterious bad boy and player? What happens when she makes new friends? What happens when she finds herself crushing on somebody?
