It was the end of my first year at university and I was looking forward to the summer to live it to the fullest until my heart was broken. As if being dumped wasn't enough, I now have to endure the humiliation of watching my ex-boyfriend flaunt his new girlfriend - who also happens to be my former best friend - all over town. The first time I met him, I was singing loudly and dancing weirdly to 'Under The Sea'. He thought my small Disney obsession was lame. I thought he was rude. If only I knew then that he'd be the one to join my brother's band, be there for me when my psycho ex-boyfriend came back, and who would somehow make me fall in love with him.

I was wrapping up my junior year of high school when my mom told me that we were moving. It was goodbye Cambridge, Massachusetts and hello Newport, Rhode Island. I knew that Newport was going to be nothing like Cambridge; I knew that I was going to have to start fresh. But what I didn't know was that I was going to fall in love for the first time.
