Bri Dillon is not always a boy, nor is Bri Dillon always a girl. However, they have always been a Nyxta-- shapeshifter, to be precise--and a life of borrowing people's identities really opened up their mind to understanding people without judgement. It also means they've been a fraud for all their life, but now it was time to settle at Bruxwarry Academy for Nyxta and Alaligera and start being honest with themselves, starting with their gender.
However, some secrets are meant to stay in the dark, and Dakota Doyle, the ruthless Alaligera news reporter who will stop at nothing to broadcast the most interesting stories, will find Bri's past scandals fascinating. Unfortunately for Bri, the two of them are requested to host an ordinary girl with extraordinary gadgets. Together.
Meanwhile, tensions between the Alaligera and Nyxta are rising, both within the Academy's walls and outside of them. The slightest catalyst could set off the war that had been looming for years, and the school is the perfect breeding grounds for conflict that could explode into a battle. With the addition of the Asyata, who have no knowledge of the other two races' capabilities--or rivalry, strategies to save the world could easily be turned against it. The only thing that the Bruxwarry students can do now is hope their training could support unity over destruction.
