Blurred and Blinded Love

Seventeen year old Ariana Amherst starts the story in the middle of her senior prom, and starts to describe the scene. She is walking aimlessly around her school hallway, trying to get rid of the memories she wishes so badly to forget. She brings up this mystery guy who she calls "him". Wishing he was the one who was actually with her tonight, but that thought seemed so dazed and confused she attempts to disregard that. She looks at herself in the mirror, and realizes that the girl she now sees she doesn't recognize any longer. Still upset and dawning on her depressing thoughts, he grabs her hands and pulls her toward his chest. Everything about him was familiar in all the right and wrong ways, and she missed it all. He asks her if she's still in love with him, and then she starts the story from the beginning. Throughout the story Ariana faces and struggles with love, what it means, and how far she'll let it go before it starts to change her. The real question though is, who is he and how did it get to this point?
