The Girl who Saved the Dead and the Boy who Killed Them

The battle between Life and Death has played for centuries. Pawns have lived, fought, and died for their respected sides. Through it all, the scales of victory have a blank outcome. For the new generation, the Underground roars with life and the Court fights for what they have left.

Though, in the rarest of occurrences, these two sides meet.

Owen Glass, assassin and strike team leader for the Underground Federation of Living Souls is tasked with taking down Rockhouse Manor; the Court of Death’s link to North America. His plan? Befriending the heir to the Manor, and bringing it down from the inside out. What he doesn’t plan is the connection he discovers with the young heiress.

Circumstances change and Owen is left with a difficult decision. Forced to choose between completing the plan and going down in history or turning his back on everything he’s ever known and abandoning it all for a fresh start, things become even more complicated. A deadly force is arising, one that will bring danger to both sides of the war.

It’s up to Owen to play his pieces right or risk it all.
