Now meet Daniel Xavier Blackwell- Red's newest target, a wealthy king's advisor who has no idea of the threat lurking around the corner.
Red's goal is not to kill a measly king's advisor, but it is a start. It's the kick start she needs to get her plan going; her plan to kill the king.
Will Red be able to reach her final goal, or will love and life interfere with her plans?

Phoenix is a young girl who grew up without a mother, who was killed by wolves when Phoenix was only a toddler. She was given an enchanted crimson cape to wear whenever she left. the house. One year, during a very frightening encounter with a wolf, her cape is ripped and the magic leaves the garment forever. In order to re-enchant the cape, Phoenix must provide a sample of the blood of the thing she fears the most. In this case, Phoenix's greatest fear was a specific wolf that is believed to be the biggest of them all. The very essence of the term Big Bad Wolf. On her quest, Phoenix learns to face her fears.
