Hello everyone! This is just a short story I had and decided I'd refine and put onto here. A litte bit of a back story on the characters:
Ainslee: Half drow, half demon. Yes, she's an interesting mix but when those two are mixed together, at least in her case, she winds up looking elven. She does have pyro abilities though in this particular story she doesn't use them.
Findel: He is elven and is well trained in the use of swords as well as a bow and arrow, which he actually prefers.
The two of them met in a tavern and through a series of unlikely events they wound up deciding to travel together for the purpose of just having each others company so they wouldn't grow lonely during their travels.

Mia is used to reading about this kind of stuff, not living it. Betrayal swirls in her eyes briefly before turning back into fury. Her hands roughly fist my hair tilting my head back, allowing the blade more access to my throat. "You bastard. You hurt him, didn't you?" "I assure you I did not force him to help me." I stare up at Wrens tormented expression, almost enjoying the position she has me in. Her eyes narrow as she leans closer to me, almost inches away, "liar." My response cuts short as a she takes the dagger from my throat and drives the blunt end into the back of my head. The feeling of falling eludes me, as the darkness once circling me now invades my mind. ............................ Waiting is not an easy task, especially when you are planning on murdering the Queen. It has been 14 years since Wren lost everything to Morana's reign. Her home, her father, her hope.
