Read first book which is my mates the enemy before this.
Jess has been staying in northern California for a month. She knows its foolish to stay in the same state but she couldn't leave. She is not apart of a pack officially but is not considered a rogue since she knows the alpha of the closest pack. She is different no longer nice and a pushover. She doesn't hide in fear of Jason finding her she just wants a less dramatic life.
Jason now Axel is different he is mean and cold he no longer has feelings for anyone. He is now Alpha of the largest pack in America and is doing it all alone. His old beta David is in hiding and Jess is long gone. He has sent scouts out daily looking for her. When he finds her he'll make her pay for leaving him his sister to.He's stronger and powerful her family is no longer in the way.
