Summary When 12-year-old Timothy Temple stumbled across an old diary in the ruins of Riverton Manor, he learns more of an old legend - 'Guardians of Elvira', who disappeared centuries ago, without a word. Has young Timothy learned more of his new home history? Or has he uncovered something sinister? Strange things begin to happen in the small island of 'Elvira Isle'; dead bodies are found on the road unexpectedly and strange marks written in blood appear on top of the victims foreheads. These blood marks say an ancient evil will rise from the dead, seeking vengeance among the living. Timothy discovers the only person who can stop this chaos is the myth itself - a myth who hasn't been seen or heard of in centuries. With assistance given from both of his younger sister AJ and Sally Jones, The three will do anything to solve the old mystery, while solving a murder case, not knowing the dangers of being founded out. Three Siblings... One Legend... Who will die?

Cara grew up in an orphanage and she is tired of living in that old house. For 10 years, she stayed there without a clue who her real parents were. She has a vague memory of her past. She remembers waking up one day at the orphanage but can't remember any other thing even her name. Cara is the name given to her at the orphanage. No one came or claimed to be her family. All she had was a locket that could be the key to her past. When she turned sixteen, something strange started to happen, things she couldn't explain. When she ran away, she met a person who would introduce her to a world she never knew existed, a world where legend and magic becomes real. Cara's ancestry can be traced back to the 15th century and her role in fulfilling the prophecy as the lost descendant is something she has never imagined.
