The year is 2274. A new type of Wi-Fi has been developed, Hy-Fi (Hyper Wi-Fi). The best part: It's free, and since it is using a brand new type of electromagnetic wave, it can spread across the globe in a matter of seconds. It is a dream come true, a solution to one of the world's biggest problems. In just a few months the entire world is connected to Hy-Fi. But when an incident cause everyone connected to the Hy-Fi to be killed, Malcolm Hyper, the creator of Hy-Fi, It is up to everyone who had not been connected to the Hy-Fi to rescue the rest of humanity. August 14, 3044. It was a future where humans didn't have to advance because technology did all the work for them. A future where children couldn't visit their parents after a certain age and you barely know the route through your own house because your teleporting from the bedroom to the kitchen. A world where you're practically mind controlled. It wasn't always like this. Humans used to have diversity and freedom to think for themselves. But on August 14th, 3044 a new species called the Anoch landed on our planet. The humans immediately categorized them as a threat and split the world into two halves by a stone wall. Humans on one side, Anoch on the other. Everyone seems to have adjusted to this change and go on with life as if everything was normal. But not me. I was only six when it happened. It's now the year 3054 and I still find it all strange. The new life the humans have been forced to live. The way the Anoch are treated as if they're some sort of experiment. And it seems like I'm the only one who cares enough to find the truth. I'm the one who snuck out. Copper-9, an exoplanet with minerals to mine and a cheap, easy-to-make work force to mine them: Worker Drones. With Worker Drones comes Disassembly Drones, their "natural" predators. Sent from beyond to slaughter all of the cowardly workers who hide in bunkers for fear of death. Except Mallory. The bastard only stays inside to sleep all day in a nice warm bed and gives lip to anyone that wakes him up. So when a surprisingly short Murder Drone waltzes right into the bunker, panic ensues, and panic makes noise, and noise tends to wake people up. == Story of a sleepy eepy guy who wishes to his sleep paralysis demon that people would leave him the [BEEP] alone. But where's a good story where everything goes the way someone wants? Got the idea from some art randomly and thought, " Ay, that's pretty good."
