Drops Of Dew On A Lonely Leaf
"A tree stands all alone In the deep dark woods It has millions of leaves Each with different moods Some leaves shake, Some leaves shiver Some leaves fall, Some leaves quiver But I am the only leaf Of this lonely tree With millions of dew drops, All of them free So come, savour my dew drops Whoever you may be These dew drops are for you; A free gift from me" Hello there I write poems with simple words and deep emotions The name and the cover are kinda deceiving Most of the poems here are about heartbreak and depression I am planning on writing positive responses to my negative poems But hey Like my math teach told me "Too negatives make a positive." Or is that two positives...? Or two negatives....? My Poetry Escape
I may just be a girl. No one special. Nothing compared to others. In the eyes of the universe, I am just a little speck of dust. My light may not shine very bright, and it may not be of any use, but I am me. Writing is my only escape out of this world. I cry rivers of ink and climb mountains of words. I may not write as well as others, but my writing is just a different style. They're my feelings. I really do hope you can connect to some of the work in here. Please, do not copy any of this work without informing me first. Thank you! "My Escape" I have a supply, In the closet near my bed, Of past memories, Hanging by a thread. A thread, Connected to my mind, That thread, Just follows me around. I have a hole, In the middle of my heart, That hole fills up, When someone's torn apart. I have a tear, Accompanying my lonely eye, Knowing, whenever I'm alone, I can sit in a corner and cry. Even though, These things are there, I still have ink, a notebook, and a pen, To care. I write and write, To my heart's desire, New feelings erupt, By the hour. Writing is, My one escape, In this cruel and careless world, I have the power, to awake. "A Story Without Words" A story told, In a little tune, A golden smile, And a shining tear, Rolling down my cheek. A little breeze, The nice sun, A marvelous day, Turned into a wet one. The memories dripped, Down on my cotton white shirt, Leaving stains, On my malicious heart. Your smile, Worth a thousand words, Can't cheer up This depressive mind. A storm bewildered, Your indecisive mind, Drowning me, In my reckless thoughts. A rainy day, A gleaming lie, A story not told, With words Nor sounds. This story is, But a mere thought, In this universe We share, Every night. This story is, A withering storm, Drifting off, In this careless soul. This story is, Not told with sounds, But a never ending blow, Of swirling emotions, Bottled up inside.Concluida
Words Unspoken
There is a community of the spirit. Join it, and feel the delight of walking in the noisy street, and being the noise. Drink all your passion, and be a disgrace. Close both eyes to see with the other eye. Open your hands, if you want to be held. Sit down in this circle. Quit acting like a wolf, and feel the shepherd's love filling you. At night, your beloved wanders. Don't accept consolations. Close your mouth against food. Taste the food. You moan, "She left me." "He left me." Twenty more will come. Be empty of worrying. Think of who created thought! Why do you stay in prison when the door is so wide open? Move outside the tangle of fear-thinking. Live in silence. Flow down and down in always widening rings of being. There's a strange frenzy in my head, of birds, flying, each particle circulating on its own. Is the one I love everywhere? Drunks fear the police, but the police are drunk too. People in this town love them both like different chess pieces. ----------------------------------- All things that we hide in our hearts eat us alive. This book is - full of emotions, love, care and agitation. Well, you need to read this to know what's in. Sixteen years later of my high school life, on a rainy night, being an independent successful woman, i was still a loser in my balcony looking at the sky because i could never win what i always wanted in life, LOVE. A known stranger, full of mysteries & tradegies ends up falling in love me? You want me to believe that? I was Right! I got it! If the river thinks it's a source for the trees to live, let the me, the great tree show it how i'm the one who brings rain to keep it alive! The tree known to be cursed never knew that her marshy heart wasn't created to die, all she needed was Mr. Sunshine, to give out love like oxygen to live, only his sun rays could vanquish the dark clouds of CO² was her great believe!
