Lily Rose is a young girl living in Northern Australia 1874, her life is normal even the tiniest bit luxuries her father a wealthy trades man her mother an Irish healer, her only worry is her younger brother William, born with one leg long than the other and is constantly shaking with fever the fever they say the fever that can never be cured.

This story is from Monsters vs Aliens movie where there was this character named Lily Blues. She is just like everyone except she has a deep fascination with macaws, especially blue macaws. At first she killed animals because she thought her parents were lonely where ever they were. After trying to kill her own Grandmother she was sent to The House, an insane asylum for kids. There she met seven other kids with situations similar to her own. Will Lily get better and go live with her family again or will she remain in a sense of denial enough that her sanity is in jeopardy? This story is told from Lily's point of view but it actually told by another girl with her little comments every now and again.
