"Your brother is quite the menacing figure," Greyson suggested, his emerald gaze never straying from me as my brother stormed off behind him.

"You saying you're scared?" I challenged, whipping my attention to him.

His dark hazel eyes simmered with amusement as his eyebrow rose. "I'm Greyson Ryvers."

"Yes..." I agreed slowly. "Your point?"

He inhaled deeply, his unlatched boots making muffled thuds against the trailer door as he dropped onto the short grass and walked over to stand right in front of me.

Right in front of me.

If I breathed in, my stomach might touch his. So that's why I stopped breathing. Nothing else could be the reason.

"I'm Greyson Ryvers," he repeated, his breath tingling on my nose. "I don't get scared."

Meet Cory Lawson, a stubborn (she prefers "determined") girl just trying to enjoy her last summer before college. She also happens to be the sister of Clay Lawson, the most talented motocross racer in their area. 

This summer at Raven Heights track, a competition is being held, and Clay has his eyes set on the championship. Cory is always by her brother's side. She's his best friend, number one fan, and always watches his back. 

Cue Greyson Ryvers, her brother's mysterious enemy, who ends up joining the competition. What was supposed to be an easy and fun summer turns into a roller coaster as Cory is left balancing her relationship with her brother and the cocky jerk who is infuriatingly alluring. As the summer goes on, sparks fly, and Cory finds her past, present and future are all thrown in a loop as Greyson races his way into her life.
