"Your brother is quite the menacing figure," Greyson suggested, his emerald gaze never straying from me as my brother stormed off behind him.
"You saying you're scared?" I challenged, whipping my attention to him.
His dark hazel eyes simmered with amusement as his eyebrow rose. "I'm Greyson Ryvers."
"Yes..." I agreed slowly. "Your point?"
He inhaled deeply, his unlatched boots making muffled thuds against the trailer door as he dropped onto the short grass and walked over to stand right in front of me.
Right in front of me.
If I breathed in, my stomach might touch his. So that's why I stopped breathing. Nothing else could be the reason.
"I'm Greyson Ryvers," he repeated, his breath tingling on my nose. "I don't get scared."
