Clandestined

The new wold is over run by technology, tall buildings and busy cities. The old world full of magic, mystical creatures and castles has long been forgotten. The beings from their world were led by the Dracul. Half man, half dragon. The change in the Earth forced them to create a new dimension in which they could all live peacefully, but over time, the Dracul began to die off, diminishing their numbers greatly. In an attempt to salvage the old world and its remaining dragon blood, a King sets out to find another of his kind. He has only stories to aid him in his search and an old relic to guide him. As a King in a democratic world, he has no authority or jurisdiction to demand the girl's presence be made, and so his journey to find her must remain hidden and secretive.
Arya Evans has always known there was something different about her. Both of her parents were very protective, even though they lived in the safest neighborhood in the country, and they had even gone so far as to give her a body guard. Granted, she was disguised as a normal teenage girl who had become her best friend, but nonetheless, it always made her wonder. The day comes when she finally has some freedom. Her parents miraculously lengthen the leash she has been attached to her whole life and she feels like she is finally able to breathe. Though when she goes out, sans her bodyguard, a tall dark stranger appears and her entire world is thrown upside down.
