All the girl wants is for her parents to stop fighting. They can get divorced for all she cares. The only thing she wants is to get out of her broken home.
All the boy wants is for his parents to be alive. They died and he's left an orphan. He does have an uncle that he's being forced to live with, but that doesn't help with the fact he's scared and that his heart is damaged.
