Ember is a 16 year old girl who recently just ran away from her troubled family. She's broken, tired, and in need of somebody to care for her.
One day, she stumbled upon a city called "Tulsa". She soon finds out that this is where her new home is going to be. She feels she fits right in when she meets Johnny, who then shows her to the rest if his gang.
Ember becomes great friends with the gang... Especially Johnny. They have a certain connection that brings her such joy and leaves her feeling wanting more. Does a friendship lead more to than "We're just friends"?
