‘I admit I’m impressed Tuesday.’ He whispered, voice suddenly dangerous, his breath making the hair around her ears dance. ‘But there is so much about me that you don’t know, I’m not what you think I am. You have no idea what I am capable of.’

Tuesday Zeller is 17 years old when she meets Eli Vasquez, a mysterious and handsome stranger who sits beside her on a bus. Tuesday is immediately drawn to him, entranced by his good looks and endeared by his proclivity for mischief. So when she meets him again she is less than thrilled to find him pointing a gun at her head in the middle of a bank robbery executed by the dangerous gang to which he belongs.
