He was there. I could see him. I could feel him. But no one else did. I would like to think he was just a mirage -- an illusion, or a dream I couldn't seem to escape. He wasn't a nightmare either, but having him there was a beautiful one. He saved me, he protected me, he taught me, though he was no Superman. At first, I didn't know why he was there. I didn't know what he was doing with me. I didn't know why he was omnipresent. But as time passed, I understood why.
