Death's Apprentice

James, a boy who has lived an ordinary life, is thrown into the life of the Gods as the apprentice of Death. Having lived on Earth for more than a million years, Death must find a way to return home and save the Meadow and the Gods inside it. But will Death finally accept help after never having someone to help? Or will Death fail, leaving it all in the hands of James, who is still learning the trade of controlling the deaths of everyone?
