James is smart, good looking, has all the money he needs and more. He's looking at a full scholarship for baseball. With more than half of senior year left, life couldn't get better. Until Caroline, the new girl in town, catches his eye. She's different then the rest of the girls at his school. She's smart, beautiful, and best of all plays baseball. At first James thinks its a turn on, but when his coach and his college dream coache start thinking she's better than him, he is forced to give all he's got.
Caroline came to Berksy High School for one reason. Because of her moms death and her father barely being able to pay house bills, she's looking for scholarships. With baseball being the only thing that could help, she joins the school team, meeting James. Caroline has met boys like James. Boys who jump from girl to girl without caring about their feelings. With every girl in school telling her to watch out because of his player reputation, she can't help but be curious. When she notices James is offered for the same scholarship, Caroline becomes unsure of her wants and him.
