I had lost hope in life years ago even before the world was nearly destroyed. I only care about my wolf who was abandoned in the woods where I used to live, which comes in handy when knowing not to trust anyone as any and all of them would deceive me for their own benefit. The world was always cruel its just more obvious now that the monsters that lived in our heads have come out to play. Destroying our minds wasn't enough so they have decided to hunt humanity to the brink of extinction. The camp I have found is one of the few large ones that remain. Others have avoided these places believing they were corrupt and decided to try to make it on their own.
