Bleeding Hearts is about a 17 year old girl whos bulimic, anorexic, anxietic, has depression and self harms. Besides YouTubers and music, self harming was her way of coping with the pressure of an accident that put her best friend, Shannon Alexis Cooper, in a coma. McKenzy is constantly reminded by everybody, the student body at school, her teachers, her parents, even Shannon's parents. One day, she comes home from school and sees her parents with someone in the living room. Would it be Shannon or just her imagination and is someone else? Will Shannon survive or die?
