In 3019, there was an outbreak of vampire's and a dangerous war happened between human and vampire's. The humans got over powered and are now living under the way they used but with a new vampire king. The vampire king, Harry Edward styles. Every since the war, every girl has a chip inserted in their arm when they are born. When your mate is somewhere near you, the chip will light up green. Also the king visits all the different towns of in his kingdom, once a year.
