This is a Canadian dancer TV show which went public. Its also show on CBBC. So at the beginning, there was some new characters and they still are but a couple of new ones! 
Well now their in internationals so hopefully they'll win!!! (want them too! )

As The Next Step started, there's loads of drama and they have quite a few enemies. They've been tricked and people try make them lose but as a team, they do it together.

She was going to college for criminal justice, go to the police academy, and was hoping to ride her BMX bike and skateboard between classes. When a BMX team comes to Cody's school, Cody has an eye on one of the guys. What Cody didn't know is that the same guy had an eye on her too. At the end of the show, Cody gets the guy's number and ends up hanging out with the crew before they leave. When they come back in the summer to see her, they teach Cody a whole bunch of new tricks on her BMX bike and she teaches them a few skateboard tricks. Cody and the guy, who she finds out is named Aaron, grow close, but of course, Aaron has to leave to perform more tricks at more schools. But Cody and Aaron stay in touch and Cody grows to miss Aaron more and more each day. Aaron comes back to see Cody and that's when Cody realizes she loves Aaron. She keeps it to herself for a while, telling no one. When Aaron gets a break from doing shows, he comes back to Cody and spends most of his break with her. Cody can't help but fall farther in love with Aaron. ----- I suck at introductions. I'm sorry. I hope this will suffice. I got inspiration when my school had an assembly that had these guys doing some BMX tricks and I don't mean any offense if I don't use the right terminology in this story.

The script is based on young people today and the issues they face, it is set in and around London and shows the things young people may be coping with. The script is be based around 4 young people age 16-18 who all attend the same college they are complete strangers to each other and hang around with different circle of friends, they each have really big issues they are dealing with in their personal lives.( young parents, abusive family members, peer pressure , exams, young carers, loss and sexuality) a situation then occurs and they are forced them engage with each other, they are put into a local scheme ran by the college for young people who have been in trouble with the law and/or come from difficult backgrounds. They will have to choose whether to attend group sessions or face being expelled from college or even face going in to a young offenders centre . During these sessions they don't really want to be there and don't wish to share their problems, as it goes on they then begin to open up and start to develop connection seeing that they have more in common. Through these sessions we start to see the changes each of them are making within their life, just by simply attending these sessions. The dream is to make this story in to a YouTube series.

Prologue: Earth has found out they're not alone in the universe. An alien species have contacted Earth, giving them a chance to be protected by the aliens out there that threatens the universe. They inform them that there are in fact thousands of alien species out there. The alien race, who calls themselves Opsidians, offer Earth a chance at competing in the Games, a televised reality competition game they host. In order to win the protection, Earth will have to send a tribute to the Games. They know little to nothing about the Games or these alien species. But after consideration, they don't see the harm in sending one. And realise it might be their only chance.
