Halo: Remnants (Halo fan fiction)

The story of Spartan Fireteam Remnant began during the Fall of Reach, in 2552. As hell encompassed their home, five young teens managed to survive the horrors that devoured their homeworld; and soon after their peace in the city of New Mombasa was brought to a cataclysmic close as the Prophets of Regret and Truth besieged Earth.

Years later, the group, who became known as Reach's Remnants, went on to create an ODST squad under the name Remnants in the 105th Shock Trooper Division. And eventually, a combat sub unit in the SPARTAN-IV Program.

Remnant's heroic feats and prowess have put them on the same level as the heroes they revered themselves. The Spartans of Fireteam Remnant face their ultimate trials and tribulations in the form of rising Insurrections, Covenant Remnants, and the increasingly mysterious Forerunner Prometheans. And in the face of these threats humanity's heroes rise to the challenge once again.

HALO: REMNANTS takes place in 2560, but there will be several chapters in which characters are introduced through the viewpoint of the Human-Covenant War at its end. Because we don't have a conclusion to the Reclaimer Saga, Halo 5 will be omitted completely from this fanfiction. Though some canon characters may cameo, I don't plan on having them jampacked into the story. So enjoy, vote, comment, follow, and have fun! ^^
