John Highland swears revenge after witnessing his wife's ruthless murder and his daughter's brutal kidnapping. Soon after, he realises this is the result of one mistake he made years before. Coincidently, he stumbles upon an 'old friend' who claims to know a lot about what is happening. 

Facing the demons of his past, he hustles to save child and himself from the mess he's created. Things he thinks he knows crumble into dust as the further he sinks back into old routine, the more he reveals about himself, the people who are after him and the people who are trying to help him..
