Damian Wayne never felt he belonged with the Teen Titans. The constant taunts for his methods wore him down. Somehow, they had forgotten that he was just a 12-year-old kid. While a few, like Nightwing, Starfire, and Raven, understood him, everyone else kind of hated him. One day, he went too far and injured a criminal more than he should have. The taunts escalated, labeling him a murderer. Feeling utterly unwanted, Damian had enough. He left the team and disappeared, ensuring that even Batman wouldn't find him. He started traveling through the Himalayas and Nepal, seeking peace. Eventually, he found solace in India, adopting a new identity and developing an interest in playing the guitar. Seven years passed. In this time, Damian mastered 40 types of martial arts and focused heavily on archery. Under his new identity, he taught guitar to children, finding joy in guiding them and spending time with them, as they were the only ones who didn't see him as a murderer. Despite this, Damian often reflected on his upbringing and the reason for his existence. His mother, Talia al Ghul, had wanted a replacement for Ra's al Ghul, not a child, and his father, Batman, hadn't even known he existed until they met. Accepting that he was unwanted and didn't belong anywhere, Damian sometimes broke down, questioning why he couldn't have a normal life. Yet, amidst the solace he found with children, his life took another turn. One day, he received a call from Batman. It was an inside joke. Each of the 'batfam' had a weakness. No one - not even Alfred - knew Batman's. Damian's was easy; Damian's was the heat. Couldn't stand it; he got way too hot way too quickly. Tim's was the dark. Was never found asleep without either a light on or the door open with a light on outside. Jason's was water. He couldn't hold his breath and had panic attacks when he had prolonged contact; say he was in a pool. Dick had two; cold and poison. He froze in twelve degrees (C) and never left the house with a jacket on. And the poison traveled at least three times as fast through his bloodstream as he didn't clot easily. Alfred had one too; as impossible as it seems. His was his age; he was nimble, yes, quick, yes, agile, yes, but occasionally his limbs cramped, or he had trouble breathing. ---Ⓜ️ for blood, gore etc, and bad language! ---

Three years. It's been three years since the death of Dick Wayne, and Renegade. The city lost a hero. Bruce Wayne lost a son. Jason, Tim, Damian they lost a brother. Barbara lost a boy who she thought she could of loved. They all coped with it in different ways, Jason made bad choices, Damian drifted, Tim and Barbara became close friends. But that was never enough. It never will be. By the end of the day, no matter what they did, Dick was still dead. Well, at least he was to them. When bodies start dropping all over Gotham, each one leaving a message for the mighty Batman, people start asking questions. Maybe Batman isn't capable of protecting Gotham, maybe he's finally met his match. What happens when these bodies start becoming innocent people instead of criminals? What will Batman do then? When he was young he was the ward of Bruce Wayne and talk of the tabloids. As a member of Young Justice, in a mission gone wrong he almost lost his best friend to none other than Deathstroke the Terminator. Grief and guilt swallowed him whole, and that's when it all went wrong. He went after the mercenary, and was killed by a quick slash across his neck. However, his death wasn't the end, because that would be too easy. Dick Grayson--brought back by the Lazarus Pit--whose now dead to the world is useful to the mercenary as his student, successor, and pawn. After years of being a toy to the contract killer Dick escaped and ran from himself and everything he's ever known. He now goes by Grayson Lloyd, but mostly referred to as Gray. He took his mothers maiden name, and returned to Gotham, but not as a hero, as something the city would come to dispute about. Vigilante. Killer. Hero. Murderer. Mercenary. He's everything in between: the gray area if you will. To the crude city he's known as 'The Gotham Reaper'. The Batfamily of course have something to say about this new vigilante. This is Batman's city after all.

Damian is not known for sharing his feelings. Infact, most of his siblings would argue he doesn't even have any. A certain Al Ghul is definitely to blame for that. What the rest of the Wayne's, including his father don't know though, is that Damian is struggling. He's struggling to find his real worth after being forced to be the best his whole life. But no one can be the best at everything. He's struggling to understand all these new feelings and hormones that teenagers go through. He doesn't have the help of his past family, and his new family thinks his stone cold. Words and things that'd he'd normally have no problem ignoring, suddenly start to effect him. worse though, they effect his ability to fight. His thoughts are plagued with Talias voice, constantly telling him how he's failed her. Can he find the strength to say something? Or will he just hold everything in and keep putting up a fake front? . . . Damian - 16 Dick -25 Jason - 22 Tim -20 (I'll add more characters later but other then the parents, most are around this age.) This will eventually turn into a Dami/Jon fic, and possibly a Ja/Tim.
