When "The War of Reality" (a long and cruel civil war between the humans and the supernatural) finally ends, It has killed out a large majority of the supernaturals.

Maisey, a 12 year old fallen angel, had been moved to one of the largest war orphanages for mythicals.
The War is over, but supernaturals are now considered "untouchables", on the bottom of the social pyramid. 
It is undoubtedly decided the supernaturals will stay in the orphanage.
