Alone

September 22, 2014 was the day Emerald Bay Welsh's brother died. Her parents had died two years before. Her mom being the first to go, then her dad. Their deaths were only twenty two days apart, it scared her that she still remembered. Actually, the scary part was that she's officially an orphan.
Although, for a year, she's been staying with her twenty-eight year old cousin, Braden Micheals. Only, he came up with the terrifying decision of kicking her out on her eighteenth birthday, which was coming up in twenty two days on September 22, 2015. With only twenty-two days to find a job and a place to live before she's kicked out, she goes frantic, looking around for a place like a begger looking for food.
The clock slowly starts to tick down and she finds herself a week from her birthday. She's going frantic trying to find at least a roommate to share a place with till she gets back on her feet, but no one is nice enough take her.
Emerald Jay Welsh is too scared. Too scared to be kicked out, too scared to be homeless, too scared she won't survive, but most importantly, Emerald Jay Welsh is too scared to be alone again.
